08.12.2023: TikTok, Blender, and Concept Art for ‘Brown Bag’

Yes, it’s true Bathroom Atlantis now has a TikTok. pewpTok was taken so I had to go with the handle shown below. ‘Beneath That Wave’, ‘flowers for Monday’, and the new short ‘Brown Bag’ will be up soon so *projectile vomits* follow me, bro! ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Anyways, I got Blender and I’m STOKED!!! The main feature that I really like about Blender is that it’s SICK! But seriously after watching a bunch of hours of Blender tutorials from Dédouze, I realized I just spent hours of my life watching instructional videos for a free software I didn’t even own, but I knew why: Dédouze‘s work is NUTS, the way he’s able to craft these little nooks and windows into a parallel universe with Blender blew me away. But the major bombshell was Worthikids. Worthikids is probably my favorite artist on YouTube (besides the funk god Louie Zong) for the best reason: they’ve been casually and consistently making videos that I’ve been sharing with my friends for years ’cause they’re freakin’ good. And they just keep getting better. Turns out Worthikids uses exclusively Blender to animate. I was watching this tutorial and turns out you can animate on top of an audio file in Blender. That’s the crane de la qualm right there, that’s why ‘Brown Bag’ will be my first short animated in Blender, it’s simply TEW GEWD.
